Government not ruling out Ryanair’s offer for Aer Lingus stake

style="text-align: left;">The Transport Minister says the Government is not ruling out Ryanair’s offer to buy its 25 %  stake in Aer Lingus.

The airline today made a formal takeover bid for the former State carrier – offering €1.30 per share – a valuation of 694 million euro.

The offer is open to shareholders for acceptances until 3 o’clock on September 13th next.
