With the Taoiseach out of the country, the usual Tuesday cabinet meeting is deferred until tomorrow, but the Government will still get a raking over the coals in the Dáil.

Sinn Féin have submitted a private members motion on the Government repsonse to Storm Éowyn and will no doubt give the Government a kicking.

While the Social Democrats, through their spokesperson Jennifer Whitmore, has called for a special Oireachtas committee to be set up to examine the Government's inadequate response to the storm.

There's also going to be debate in the chamber today on the programme for Government before Parliamentary quesitons from the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Harris.
