All 15 junior ministers also be involved in international travel, with Michael Noonan the only minister staying behind.

Enda Kenny and Joan Burton will be travelling to the United States - while Michael Noonan is the only minister staying behind.

Ministers Charlie Flanagan and Richard Bruton have joined Julie Sinnamon of Enterprise Ireland to make the announcement as part of the “Promote Ireland” programme.

Mr Flanagan denies that the worldwide travel programme is a waste of money and instead said he is “satisfied this is money really, really well spent.”

“These are very, very good value. Last year for example as an immediate consequence of our Ministerial visits, five million euro was gained at a cost of 300,000 for the entire event,” Mr Flanagan said.
