Instead of a video camera, he wore a heart rate belt to monitor his pulse through the life-changing moment.

With his resting pulse at about 90 beats per minute, Reddit user Sesipikai shot to almost 130bpm as he began his prepared lines. Thankfully the answer was yes, and a well-earned rest on a bench brought him all the way down to a mellow 75.
