Haiti's Prime Minister has resigned, following violent protests over a delay to elections in the country.
In a televised address, Laurent Lamothe insisted he would leave the post 'with a feeling of accomplishment'.
Elections were supposed to be held in Haiti in 2011, a year after the devastating earthquake there.
Protesters have also called for the resignation of President Michel Martelly, who will rule by decree if an election is not held before the parliament's mandate expires in January.
The delay has been caused by a stalemate over electoral legislation.
"If this is what can truly unblock the political crisis, I’ve decided to hand President Martelly my resignation and that of the entire government," said in his resignation address.
Anti-government protests have been taking place in Port-au-Prince and other Haitian cities for weeks over the delayed elections.
One man was found dead during protests on Saturday, and is reported to have been shot.
