A ceasefire is expected to be announced between Hamas and Israel following exchanges of fire along the border with Gaza.
It is understood a truce has been brokered by Egyptian intelligence officials.
Hamas and Israel have exchanged rocket fire and air strikes in recent days.
It comes as tensions remain high in Jerusalem ahead of the planned funeral of a murdered Palestinian teenager.
Israeli police say they have yet to establish a motive for the killing, but it had been speculated it was a revenge attack after the kidnap and murder of three Israeli teenagers earlier this week.
This morning, some media outlets have CCTV footage purporting to show his capture.
The video allegedly shows men bundling Mohammed Abu Khadair into a car in East Jerusalem, shortly before his burned body was found in a forest.
The Khadair family say their 17-year-old was on his way to the local mosque to attend morning prayer when he was taken.
Israel hacked
In another development, the official Twitter feed of the Israel Defence Forces was hacked, stating that rockets had hit a major nuclear facility, causing a leak.
The tweet, which was quickly removed read: "#WARNING: Possible nuclear leak in the region after 2 rockets hit Dimona nuclear facility."
The IDF later confirmed the tweet was a hoax vowing to "combat terror on all fronts including the cyber dimension".
Mohammed Abu Khadair's kidnapping followed the kidnap and murder of three Israeli teenagers, whose bodies were discovered on Monday afternoon.
