One of the most successful stage musicals of all time is coming to Dublin for a nine-week run of shows.
‘Hamilton’ is coming to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from Tuesday, September 17th to Saturday, November 16th, 2024.
The Olivier, Tony, Grammy and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical is currently playing at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London and is booked to remain there until March 2024.
It is also continuing to play to record-breaking houses on Broadway, throughout North America and in Australia and Germany.
Meanwhile, a brand-new company is currently being assembled from over 3000 hopeful artists for the UK and Ireland tour, with the new cast to be announced soon.
Organisers describe Hamilton as, “the story of America then, told by America now”.
“Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre—a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education,” they said.
Tickets for the Dublin shows go on sale at 9am on Friday, April 28th.
