A vote will take place in Brussels later today on an EU-wide ban on the use of insecticides.
The group of chemicals have been strongly linked to the decrease in bee population.
If passed a two-year moratorium on various neonicotinoid pesticides will be introduced.

The drop in bees has had a knock on effect for a number of industries because insects are vital for food production as they pollinate three-quarters of all crops.
