Two people are confirmed dead after a helicopter crashed into a crane in central London and plunged to the ground.
4 people have been taken to hospital and one person is critically ill.
Witnesses reported seeing debris falling from the sky after the aircraft struck the crane before exploding into flames near Vauxhall Station during the morning rush hour.
London Fire Brigade say it "was absolute chaos" but the blaze was put out within 20 minutes.
They also rescued a man from a burning car.
The helicopter hit a crane which is now described as being in a precarious position on top of a high-rise construction.
The development called 'The Tower' is in the St. George Wharf development is one of the tallest residential towers in Europe.
A dark plume of smoke was visible above the area for a time earlier.
Fire and rescue services said they took lots of emergency calls from eyewitnesses.
