A woman has been arrested after Gardaí seized suspected heroin and a crossbow at a house in Dublin city.

Gardaí conducted a search of a house in the Summerhill area at around 8.45am on Tuesday.

They discovered the drugs, with an estimated street value of approximately €2,500, and a crossbow firearm.

This weapon is now being technically examined.

A woman, aged in her 40s, was arrested at the scene.

She has since been charged in relation to this incident.

She is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice later.
