Heroin worth an estimated €195,000 has been seized in Co Limerick.

Yesterday officers searched a derelict property in the Ardkilmartin area of Kilmallock.

The drugs were discovered during the operation and have now been removed for a technical examination.

No arrests were made as part of yesterday's search operation, and gardaí say their investigations are continuing.
