The High Court has approved an annual care package of 430 thousand euros for a 7 year old Dublin girl who was brain injured at birth.

Charlotte Barry, of O'Connell Gardens, Bath Avenue, Sandymount, previously received an interim sum of close to 2 million euros following an action against the National Maternity Hospital in 2010.

The hospital admitted liability.

The court heard Charlotte has cerebral palsy and is spastic quadraplegic.
