Enoch Burke's appeal against orders of the High Court refraining him from attending at his former school is due to be heard today.
The court will hear Mr Burke’s legal challenge against a number of court orders imposed on him by the High Court last year.
One of them includes an injunction to stay away from the school he used to teach at; despite daily fines being imposed, he has continued to defy the order.
On Monday, Mr Justice George Birmingham told both parties it should not be assumed that an appeal would be entertained from someone who was still in contempt.
He said it also should not be assumed that the court could countenance a situation where someone was in contempt up to their hearing date, and again while waiting for a judgement, which is likely to be reserved and delivered on a later date.
Both sides were also told that one day has been set aside for this hearing so if it requires more time, there could be a difficulty in facilitating an extra day anytime soon.
