A toddler has been injured in a hit-and-run in Co Cork.
It happened on Oliver Plunkett Street in Bandon around 6pm yesterday evening, when the two-year-old boy was hit by a passing vehicle.
The driver failed to stop and drove on in the direction of Bandon Fire Station.
The toddler was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
His injures are not life threatening.
Gardaí are now appealing for witnesses who were in the area the time of the crash.
They're particular appealing to any drivers who may have dash cam footage of the incident.
