The latest Hollywood cop drama is promising a whole new angle on the genre.

The action in the “End of Watch” unfolds through footage from the handheld cameras of officers, gang members and surveillance tapes.

It stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena as police officers patrolling the streets of Los Angeles.

And Jake says the way the movie is shot gives the film a unique edge:
