Hundreds will flock to the Iveagh Gardens today for HOPEFEST - an outdoor wellness event for those experiencing homelessness.
Haircuts, chiropody and yoga are among some of the services on offer at the outdoor festival.
Organised by UCD Lions club and the Dublin Simon Community, HOPEFEST aims to give hope to those struggling, giving them practical help to make things a little easier.
There will also be food and games on offer, as well as a children's zone.
"It brings a bit of positivity"
John Sheehy of Dublin Lions Club believes the summer party will promote positivity in an, unfortunately, growing community of homeless people in Dublin.
"I think it's unique in that it's specifically for those experiencing homelessness and it brings a bit of positivity."
"All of us that are there, we're all part of a community, and it's a community looking after those who aren't quite as lucky", he told Newstalk.
"It's a show of having care and respect for those within our community, and I think that's a really important message."
A quarter of homeless people have jobs
Almost 600 people are expected to attend the ticket only event today from 12-3pm.
Mendicity, one of the Ireland's oldest homeless charities, has reported that a quarter of its clients have jobs.
The Dublin-based charity says their latest figures show that having a job doesn't mean you have a place to live.
They say it's a symptom of record-breaking homeless levels, which they've never seen before.
Their 'working but homeless' clients include people working in hospitality, construction, and general operations.
