Today was officially the hottest day of the year, as temperatures reached 30 degrees in two counties, as Ireland was also declared to be in 'absolute drought'.
The temperature reached 30-point-1 degrees in Castlederg in Fermanagh, and 29-point-6 in Mount Dillon in Roscommon.
Also, the country has had little or no rainfall for the past 15 days, which has put it into an official drought.
