The head of the HSE will meet the Chairman of the St. Vincent's Healthcare Group this morning over salary top-ups.
CEO Nicholas Jermyn was in receipt of a salary of €292,000 last year - which includes €136,000 from private funds, and a €20,000 car allowance.
The Board of St. Vincent's has maintained that the salaries are all tax compliant - and are not funded by charitable donations.
HSE Chief Tony O'Brien says he wants to hear how St. Vincent's plans to fall in line with public pay rules:
The Board of St. Vincent's maintains the salaries are all tax compliant, and insists they are not funded by charitable donations.
Last month, the Public Accounts Committee said both the HSE and St. Vincent's had more questions to answer over the scale of the payments.
They are likely to face even more questions about the top-ups, if hospital officials are called to re-appear before next week's Public Accounts Committee.
