The HSE has withdrawn funding from a hepatitis C support group.
'Positive Action' was notified that it would no longer receive public money because of 'inappropriate and extravagant use' of funds.
According to today's Irish Examiner, the group had two Visa cards for corporate expenses and spent almost €13,000 on a 'pamper weekend' at a four star hotel.
