Ryanair says it’s working to address all competition concerns to get the green light in Europe for its Aer Lingus bid.
It comes as the airline announces a 10% jump in profit for the first half of the financial year, to 596 million euro.
They also carried 7% more passengers in the six months, bringing the figure to 48 million.
Ryanair’s submitted a package to the EU outlining a number of airlines which they say will commit to open new bases and compete with any Ryanair/Aer Lingus crossover services, if the move goes ahead.
