Islamic State militants have released hundreds of the minority Yazidi group they took captive five months ago in Iraq.
Most of those set free were elderly, disabled or ill and were dropped off on the outskirts of the Kurdish held town of Kirkuk.
BBC reports that there were an estimated 200 people released, although it is unclear why the militants released the captives.

Some are now recounting stories of how they were taken and mistreated.
