Hundreds of people are queuing at Croke Park today and tomorrow for a chance to star in the upcoming Star Wars reboot.

Disney has taken its open casting call for Star Wars: Episode VII to the stadium following a number of auditions across the UK.

The studio is looking for a "beautiful, smart and athletic young woman" and a "handsome, smart and athletic young man" to star in Star Wars: Episode VII, set for release on December 18th, 2015.

The auditions began at 11.00am this morning at the stadium despite an earlier notice stating they would take place at Filmbase, located in Dublin city centre.

They are set to continue until 3.00pm this afternoon. Auditions will also take place between the same times tomorrow.
