Hungary has revealed its logo and slogan for its upcoming rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union.
In wording very similar to a campaign slogan of former US President Donald Trump, the country has chosen 'Make Europe Great Again' as its tagline.
A now-deleted short video posted on Hungary in the EU's account on X showed the official logo and motto of the Hungarian Presidency.
The Council of the EU is where national ministers from each country meet to negotiate and adopt laws.
Each member state takes it in turn to chair council meetings for a period of six months.
Belgium is currently holding the presidency until June 30th before Hungary takes over.

Ireland has held the role a number of times; firstly in 1975 and most recently in 2013 when the country marked its 40th anniversary of EU membership.
Ireland also held the position back in 2004 when 10 new member states joined the EU.
Ireland will next takeover the EU Council presidency from July to December 2026.
