Comedian Jack Whitehall has admitted he had aged “a lot” since his son was born.
The 35-year-old and his partner, Roxy Horner, had their first child in September and Jack has taken to updating fans about his life as a parent on Instagram.
Speaking to The Hard Shoulder, he described fatherhood as “great” but said there are also tradeoffs.
“I know I am still a new Dad but I feel I have aged a lot in that four weeks,” he said.
“It has definitely transformed my attitude to being a touring comedian.
“In the old days, I would [feel] dread at the prospect of a five hour car journey from my house to Scarborough and last week I looked at it and thought that is five hours of interrupted sleep that I will cherish.”

Jack is due to perform in Belfast and Dublin this weekend - but admitted he would prefer something a little more remote.
“[I might] put in shows that are further and further away from my house and that are more far-flung,” he said.
“I don’t know if they’ve got theatres in the Shetlands and the Orkneys, I might just do a tour of all of the islands of Scotland, so that I can just have that car time to myself.”

Although he described baby poo as “evil”, Jack added that he has a hands on attitude to parenting when he is back at home.
“Since I’ve been on tour and the baby has arrived, there’s definitely no rest,” he said.
“I need to put in a shift and make up for the time that I’m away on my jaunts around the globe.”
