What exactly does Santa Claus think about Christmas Day?
Christmas is his busiest day of the year and every second of the day is scheduled so he can deliver his presents to boys and girls around the world on time.
But after a long night of travel and work, Santa was able to spare a few minutes to give an exclusive interview to Newstalk reporter Henry McKean.
“I am tired, Henry,” a weary Santa said.
“It’s not just one day, you have to build up to it, getting all the toys ready; meeting all the good boys and girls around the world.
“And then logistics; it takes a long time to work, make sure the elves have everything and Mrs Claus is looked after.
“It’s been a busy year; we have more and more children every year - so, there’s more toys and more gifts!
“But you know what? The day itself, I have so much energy! I love it!”

Over the course of a year, Santa makes millions of presents and is sent all sorts of requests from around the world.
Not every boy and girl get exactly what they want and to those who are feeling a little disappointed, he has this advice.
“All I can do is do my best,” he said, chuckling.
“Sometimes I would have the gift, sometimes I may not but I will always do my best to get something I know the child really wants.
“And sometimes they might ask for something but the elves tell me they really want something else.
“In time, they’ll say, ‘Santa was right.’”
Santa Claus lives in the North Pole but after a busy December usually take January off and heads somewhere sunny, where he trades in his classic red suit for shorts and a Hawaiian floral t-shirt.
