The young rappers behind 'The Spark' say they are "so excited" the song has made it to the Grammy longlist.
The song was released as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2024 - the national day of free creativity for children.
It went viral and was branded "the Song of Summer" by The New York Times.
The song from Kabin Crew and Lisdoonvarna Crew became a sensation and has racked up millions of views.
'The Spark' is in the running in two categories at next year's Grammys - Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Song of the Year.
One of those involved Kada told The Hard Shoulder she feels so excited.
"It was just right now [that I found out] because I just came back from school," she said.
"The boss told me that the manager had to talk to me - then I got scared - I'm like, 'What did I if I did something wrong?'
"So then when I came here she told me about the Grammys. I shouted for my life - I'm so happy".
Another member Lucy told the show it would be a dream come true.
"It's like all of our dreams come true - I'm so excited and I hope that we get onto the shortlist," she said.
"My mom got the text when I went into the Kabin, and then all the girls were like, 'We're on the longlist for the Grammys'
"I didn't know - all the girls told me that we were going to the Grammys.
"If we get on the shortlist then we might be going to the Grammys."
Lucy said she's had a few highlights in the past few months.
"I think Belgium was one of our best performances and over the summer we went to perform on CBBC's in Glasgow," she said.
"We went to Electric Picnic, Beyond The Pale, Kaleidoscope and a lot more."
Kada said she has one highlight in particular.
"My favourite is Electric Picnic and the second one... I think it was in Cork that we did it - it was the best performance.
"We got to stay in a hotel I think for two days and we went to perform and there was a lot of people there.
"I think those two are my most favourite ones."
Nominations for the 2025 Grammys will be announced on Friday November 8th with the ceremony taking place next February 2nd.
