Furniture giant Ikea is to open its first-ever outlet in the northwest of the country next month.
The Swedish company is to open a new Plan and Order Point in Sligo.
It is the retailers sixth such outlet here with another three planned to open within the next year.
The Sligo outlet will open its doors at 9.00am on April 19th and will be located in The Canopy shopping centre.
Plan and Order Points are specialised outlets designed to provide bespoke kitchen and wardrobe planning services.
Customers can also access home furnishing advice.
"The Sligo store will showcase six different kitchens, two PAX wardrobe solution, have a home furnishings planning area, and an appliance studio," Ikea said.
"Customers will be able to drop-in or book an appointment to start their design with one of the four Ikea design specialists working in the store.
"Products can then be ordered from across the full Ikea range for delivery direct to the customer’s home or a location of their choice. Appointments can be made online via the Ikea website," it added.
The Sligo Plan and Order Point follows others in Naas, Cork, Drogheda, Carlow and St Stephen's Green Shopping Centre in Dublin.
Ikea Ireland Market Manager Martyn Allan said these outlets mean people can access more products from more places.
"We are thrilled to introduce a slice of Swedish design and affordable home solutions to new areas of Ireland, where we haven't previously been physically present," he said.
"Our Plan and Order Points are the perfect spot to craft your dream kitchen without breaking the bank, offering a 25-year guarantee on all kitchens.
"Beyond kitchen planning, these locations serve as an ideal hub for assisting individuals who live a distance from our Ballymun store, whether they're looking to order a new sofa, wardrobe, or any other Ikea product," he added.
Ikea currently has six stores across Ireland having first opened its doors here in 2009.
