Actress Imelda Staunton has said she is "genuinely honoured" after it was announced she will play Britain's Queen Elizabeth in the final season of The Crown.
It has been confirmed today that the hit Netflix show will end after its fifth season.
Olivia Colman - who took over from Claire Foy for season three - will play the monarch for one more season, before Imelda Staunton takes over for the final episodes.
Staunton received an Oscar nomination for her performance in 2004's Vera Drake, and is also well-known for her performance as Dolores Umbridge in the Harry Potter film series.
She's also a veteran theatre performer, having won multiple Olivier Awards for her stage work.
In a statement today, she said: "I have loved watching The Crown from the very start.
"As an actor it was a joy to see how both Claire Foy and Olivia Colman brought something special and unique to Peter Morgan's scripts.
"I am genuinely honoured to be joining such an exceptional creative team and to be taking The Crown to its conclusion."
Production is currently underway for season 4 of the show.
