The Irish Medical Organisation says 'some progress' was made at talks with the HSE at the Labour Relations Commission.
Both sides met today to consider clarifications on how to reduce working hours for junior doctors - and end shifts of over 24 hours.
The IMO says that there are still issues to be resolved - with the HSE to return tomorrow with proposals to address the junior doctors' concerns.
