Electric Picnic kicked off on Friday, and despite the traffic jams and delays on the way down, those who made the trip were once again immersed in the unique atmosphere of the famous festival. 

While Saturday's conditions are set to be a little bit wetter, Friday provided clear skies, sunshine and conditions that couldn't be beaten. 

There were plenty of acts to choose from on the night, as The Chemical Brothers took to the main stage to start the festival off in style.
