A poodle named Ricky has won 'Best-in-Show' at the Crufts dogshow this year. The two-year-old triumphed over six other best-in-group winners in the final.
Ricky and his handler, Jason Lynn, were given the nod after being assessed for overall health, condition, coat, character, temperament and movement.

The event took place at The NEC, Birmingham over the weekend. It saw more than 21,000 dogs competing for the title, as well as the many other competitions that took place - such as agility and flyball to Friends for Life and Scruffts.
Colour is in this season
The event - described as "a celebration of all dogs" - was started back in 1891 by Charles Cruft.
"How's my hair?"
Cruft took up the management of the Allied Terrier Club Show at the Royal Aquarium in Westminster in 1886.
"Size isn't everything, you know"
It was in 1891 that the first Cruft's show was booked into the Royal Agricultural Hall in Islington, and it has evolved and grown ever since.
