Efforts are continuing to establish the exact cause of death of an 11-year old girl in Co. Offaly over the weekend.
The body of Emily Barut was found at her home in Tullamore on Saturday night.
She was disabled and wheelchair-bound.
Her 55-year old mother who is a GP was found unconscious by emergency crews.
She is in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
Gearoid Keegan is the deputy editor with the Tullamore Tribune.
He says the initial post mortem was inconclusive and Gardaí are awaiting the results of toxicology tests.
He spoke with Breakfast here on Newstalk.
