It's being reported that legal proceedings have begun against the promoter of the Garth Brooks concerts in Croke Park.
The proceedings have been brought in the name of Brian Duff, whose solicitor is named as Anthony Fay, the solicitor acting for some residents of Croke Park.
The case is against Aiken Promotions (Ireland) Ltd and Páirc an Chrócaigh Teoranta.
A meeting of Dublin City Council has been told nothing can be done to ensure the five gigs will go ahead at the venue later this month.
In a statement, the council says it's hopeful at least 3 gigs will go ahead, and that the Monday and Tuesday concerts can be held at some stage in the future.
Two of the five gigs were not granted a licence after complaints from residents in the vicinity Croke Park.
