A group of international police has abandoned plans to travel to the crash site of flight MH17 today because of safety fears.

The unarmed police say they "can't take the risk", due to ongoing fighting in the area.

Earlier, Malaysia's Prime Minister said an agreement has been reached with pro-Russian separatists for the mainly Dutch team to visit the site in eastern Ukraine.
