The body of a woman has been found at a house in Co. Louth.

The remains were discovered in Dundalk this morning.

The body of the female who was in her 30s was found at a house in the town in the early hours of this morning.

The grim discovery was made at College Manor in Hoey’s Lane at around 3am

Gardai say they will now examine ‘all the circumstances following the discovery’.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.

The State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau are due to arrive later today.
