Gardaí are investigating two separate cash-in-transit robberies in Dublin today.
A security officer was threatened by a man outside a bank in Tallaght village shortly before midday, before the raider made off with a cash box.
While in Finglas, a man confronted a security officer and also escaped with an unknown quantity of cash.
The first incident happened outside a bank in Tallaght shortly before midday - when a security officer was approached and threatened by a man.
He fled the scene with a cash box in a waiting car, described as a silver Peugeot.
No one was injured and no arrests have been made.
Gardaí in Finglas are also appealing for information after a security officer was confronted by a man shortly after midday.
The raider made off on foot and into a waiting car with a cash box.
Gardaí say a car has since been recovered on fire in a nearby industrial estate.
