A postmortem will be carried out today on the body of man found in Donegal.

The foreign national in his forties was found dead at around 11am yesterday morning, at an apartment in the Lower Main Street area of Letterkenny.

Gardaí say the discovery is being treated as suspicious.

It is believed the man is a foreign national aged in his 40s.
