Police in the North have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in County Tyrone.
31 year old Stephen Holmes was seriously assaulted in the Beechmount Village area of Strabane in the early hours of last Monday morning.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition, but passed away today.

The PSNI has said charges concerning another 31 year old man who appeared before Strabane Magistrates' Court last Thursday in connection with the investigation will now be reviewed by officers.
