Gardaí have confirmed that a fire at an Orange Hall in Co Donegal overnight was started deliberately.
The main hall at the Convoy building was gutted in the fire and the roof was destroyed.
It is the second Orange hall to be burnt down in the county in the past three weeks, following the arson attack against the Newtowncunningham Orange Hall in September.
Speaking to Highland Radio, Garda Superintendent Michael Finan says investigations are continuing into this morning's blaze:
Also speaking to Highland Radio, local Sinn Féin Councillor Liam Doherty says the Convoy Orange Hall was widely used by the community:
In the North, Carnagh Orange Hall in Co Armagh went on fire at around 8 o'clock last Saturday night, when a saucepan - thought to contain homemade explosive material - detonated.
No one was injured, and only minor damage was caused to the building.
