An investigation is underway following the discovery of a man's body at a house in Kilkenny City.
At around 7pm yesterday, gardaí were alerted to the discovery at a house on Waterford Road.
The body of the man in his 40s remains at the scene this morning, with an examination due to be carried out by the State Pathologist.

The man's family has been notified, and a family liaison has been appointed.
A Garda investigation into the circumstances surrounding the sudden death is ongoing, with the results of a post-mortem exam due to determine the course of the investigation.
