An investigation is underway following the sudden death of a man in Dublin.
At around 7am this morning, pedestrians noticed a man unconscious at Foster Place in the city centre and alerted gardaí.
The man - who was in his late 30s - was taken to St James's Hospital.

He passed away at around 8am this morning.
In a statement, gardaí said a post mortem will now be conducted, and that will determine the course of their investigation.
