The Police Service of Northern Ireland is launching a murder probe after a body was discovered in a garage in County Tyrone.

Few details have yet been released regarding the body of the 32-year-old man, whose body was found in a garage in the Moor Road, Coalisland, Co. Tyrone on October 15th.

A post-mortem examination has been held, and all of his next of kin have yet to be contacted. It is believed the dead man has links to eastern Europe.

Detective Chief Inspector Lee McNevison, who is leading the murder investigation, said: "If anyone saw anything unusual in the Moor Road area of Coalisland in recent days we would like them to contact detectives at Dungannon police station by calling the non-emergency number 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

Police are investigating a possible link between this murder and an incident in the same area on October 14, when a man is reported to have been assaulted and shot in the leg.
