A young Ireland and Ulster rugby player is among three family members who died after falling into a slurry tank in County Down yesterday evening.

22-year-old Nevin Spence played for Ulster and represented Ireland in the Six Nations last year.

Nevin – his brother – and his father died in the incident – while his sister is receiving treatment in hospital

Emergency services were called to the farm at Hillsborough just after 6pm.
