Ireland has experienced its worst summer in 26 years according to Met Eireann.
When looking at the season overall Cork saw its wettest summer since 1962.
Meanwhile Belmullet in Mayo was the driest by comparison.
The highest daily rainfall was recorded at Malin Head which saw 50.9 millimetres falling on July 22nd.
That is its highest rainfall since 1955.
In terms of temperature the highest of 26.5 degrees was recorded at Shannon Airport on August 10th.
The lowest was recorded at Markree in Sligo which measured just 2.4 degrees on June 10th.
Mayo saw extremes across the county with Belmullet recording the highest amount of sunshine while Knock Airport was the lowest and had the dullest summer since records began in 1996.
