Donegal actress Amybeth McNulty has joined the cast of Stranger Things for its fourth season.
Irish-Canadian Amybeth will play Vickie, a character Netflix describes as "a cool, fast-talking band nerd" who catches the eye of one of the show's main characters.
The 19-year-old Irish actress has previously played the lead role in another Netflix show, Anne with an E.
She's one of several new cast members joining the show in 'recurring roles' - with Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen and Grace Van Dien also joining the ensemble cast.
Season four of the supernatural horror show is currently being shot in the US.
The latest season was officially announced with a teaser trailer back in September 2019, a few months after the release of the third season.
Production began in early 2020, but was halted just a few weeks later due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Production resumed late last year, with star David Harbour - who plays Sheriff Hopper - saying they were expecting to wrap production by August.
No release date for the new season has yet been announced.
