Irish actress Fiona Shaw is to star in a new role in the BBC drama 'Baptiste'.
The detective show, which stars Tchéky Karyo in the title role, is to return for a second season.
He will be joined by the 'Killing Eve' actress - who will play a British ambassador, whose family goes missing during a skiing holiday in the Hungarian mountains.
Written by Harry and Jack Williams, 'Baptiste' will see its damaged protagonist attempt to solve this case while enduring the grief of a horrific personal tragedy.
The series has been produced by Two Brothers Pictures - the team behind 'Fleabag' and 'The Missing'.
Shaw recently won 'Best Supporting Actress' for her role in 'Killing Eve' at the TV BAFTAs in the UK.
On her new role, Shaw said: "I'm honoured to be joining this hugely talented and committed team with the superb writing of Harry and Jack Williams and under the direction of Thomas Napper.
"I'm so lucky to be working with all the best of the new generation".
Filming in the show's second series will begin in February.
