Irish cartoon Wolfwalkers has been nominated among this year’s Academy Awards.
The Cartoon Saloon production was nominated in the Best Animated Feature category.
It will battle it out with Onward, Over the Moon, A Shaun The Sheep Movie: Armageddon and Soul for the Oscar.
The ceremony is due to take place in Los Angeles on April 25th.

The Best Picture nominations went to The Father, Judas and the Black Messiah, Mank, Minari, Nomadland, Promising Young Woman, Sound of Metal and The Trial of the Chicago 7.
Meanwhile two women were nominated in the best director category for the first time ever.
Chloe Zhao (Nomadland) and Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) are up against Lee Isaac Chung (Minari), David Fincher (Mank) and Thomas Vinterberg (Another Round).
Only five women have ever been nominated in the category and only one has ever won.

The nominations for Actress in a Leading Role include Viola Davis, Andra Day, Vanessa Kirby, Frances McDormand and Carey Mulligan.
Meanwhile the Leading Actor nominees include Riz Ahmed, Anthony Hopkins, Gary Oldman, Steven Yeun and a post-humous nomination for Chadwick Boseman.
