An Irish charity is travelling to the Philippines to provide internet and phone access to those affected by Typhoon Haiyan so they can re-connect with their families.
Disaster Tech Lab is a non profit organisation that works to restore communications following natural disasters.
It will provide internet access to local and foreign relief organisations as well as two temporary hospitals.
According to official estimates, 2,000 people are still missing and at least half a million people are homeless following the typhoon.
Founder of Disaster Tech Lab Evert Bopp says his volunteers help people to access aid or to get in touch with their families.
