The Office of Public Works (OPW) has announced details of the 'greening' of heritage sites and State buildings for the St Patrick's Festival.

The campaign, in association with Fáilte Ireland and the St. Patrick's Festival Organisation, celebrates St Patrick's Day and promotes Ireland both nationally and internationally.

The OPW will light sites and buildings around the country from March 14th to 18th.

This will be done by using green filters, specialist lamps and existing lighting control systems.
