An Irish man has died in an apparent drowning incident off the coast of northern Spain.
The man's body was recovered at Zurriola Beach in San Sebastián in the early hours of Friday morning.
Local media outlet El Diario Vasco reports that the 31-year-old had gone swimming with two others.

They report a number of people who were surfing in the area helped rescue teams recover the body.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it is now providing consular assistance to the man's family.
